Counselling Information
Friends of Autism has available a comprehensive counseling service for:
- Parents which children with Autism (individually or as part of a group)
- Adults on the Autism Spectrum
- Life Coaching
- Mothers "Looking After You" Groups
- Marital counseling (in groups or as a couple)
The Head Counsellor is Dee Marlow who is a mother of 3 autistic children and has a Husband with Asperger's. Through personal experience she is able to bring a unique perspective to the counseling process. Counselling is offered by a number of methods due to the difficulties for some to attending regular sessions and include; face to face individual and group sessions, via e-mail and skype. Anyone attending counseling should always recognise that the result are dependent on your own personal input, work and willingness to be honest and open as part of the process.
We are always providing new groups and usually offer a crèche service as part of this so contact us and see what is coming up.
